Humane Society of the U.S. President Wayne Pacelle (pah-SELL-ee) visited the State Capitol in Jefferson City this week, urging lawmakers not to tamper with Propostion B, the law passed by voters in November that regulates puppy breeding in Missouri. There is a movement underway in the state legislature to do away with or alter the puppy mill law before it goes completely into effect.
