presence about him, lots of personality, and is quite animated. With a female that compliments Charlie's hunting instincts and conformation, it is possible that he will produce Dual-Purpose Labrador Retrievers that can compete in field tests and be of show quality.
Charlie had the opportunity to hunt for pheasants as a guide dog in South Dakota for several weeks. The hunters were particularly impressed with his marking ability and never quit attitude. He also showed great intensity, retrieving desire, intelligence, and confidence. With his hunting skills, training attitude and temperament, he is always eager to hunt, train or play with the kids.
A few of Charlie's nine month old pups from his first breedings have been out hunting and training with us. They are smart, talented young dogs with endless retrieving desire. The feedback we receive from owners of his pups mirrors ours. So far, it seems that he is proving to be an excellent stud dog that is passing on his characteristics and abilities to his offspring.
Whether he is upland or waterfowl hunting, Charlie enthusiastically gives his all. He is truly, a rare find and enhances our ability to offer diverse and talented all-around gun dogs.
